I was most fortunate to have visited Panama recently.  I came home inspired to paint as often as possible.  I love flowers, from the time the bees hovered around the peony plant of my youth.  Here in the desert Southwest, the flowers are best suited to dry heat.  I use travel as my excuse to find varieties not found in this high mountain air.  In Panama, I experienced the humid heat of the Kuna Village in Comarca and the coolness of the mountains in the west, close to Costa Rica.  Watch for paintings of Panama and flowers on my website over the next few months.

I love painting a variety of subjects believing by loving much, I can accomplish much.  Vincent Van Gogh thought that which was done with love was done well.     I draw inspiration from some of my favorite painters: Qiang Huang, Richard Schmid and Kevin Macpherson.
